Edmunds Launches Its API
Just a couple of months ago, Edmunds was hosting its own internal hack days with the intent of creating greater API awareness and empower the developer community to create innovative and useful automotive-related experiences with the Edmunds data.
And as of early this month, the Open Platform team at Edmunds now has the Edmunds Developer Network, which offers developers access to the Edmunds portal through its Mashery-hosted API. According to Edmund's announcement, "the portal offers vehicle specification and pricing for over 36,500 different trims of over 6,000 vehicle models from 1990 onward."

To access the Edmunds data, developers can register an account with the portal and apply for an API key.
